Rathcoole FC division One Champions 🏆

I have to say well done Killymoon Rangers FC for showing their true class.

We didn't want to end the season the way it did either and fair play for taking it on the chin and congratulating us.

Beat at home against them at the very start of the season. We went down to ten men early in the game and they took advantage of that. Also showing quality that day and came to the diamond and like ourselves tried to play the game the rite way by playing football not like others in our league.

Thanks to all our loyal supporters who always came down rain hail or snow and cheered on the lads.

Cant wait now to get back into next season and start the season with a bang. No underestimating anyone this year.

Finally I have to thank my players who came week in and week out and put so much effort into his season. We hope to see you all back in pre season for another crack at this league and show everyone we fully deserved it this year.

The Gaffer - RFC

Rathcoole Football club The club was founded in 2012. The club is based in Rathcoole, Newtownabbey, County Antrim, playing their home games at the Diamond, a two pitch facility that they previously shared with the now defunct Rathfern Rangers.

They gained intermediate status in 2013 and competed in the Irish Cup for the first time in 2015–16, reaching the second round. However the club returned to the junior ranks for the 2016-17 season by dropping down a division. In July 2017 the team rebuilt and re-registered for the 2017-2018 season.

We have a second team playing in the 3rd Division of the Ballymena League and two youth team - under 16s and under 18s.
